Antisocial Personality Disorder

Antisocial personality disorder is a pervasive pattern of, disregard for, and violation of the rights of others that begins in childhood or early adolescence and continues into adulthood. It is sometimes referred to as sociopathic personality disorder, or sociopathy.

Signs & Symptoms:

  • Disregard for social norms and laws
  • Repeatedly lies
  • Places others at risk for one's own benefit
  • Demonstrates a profound lack of remorse
