Dr. Timothy O. Ireland

Dr. Ireland has been teaching at Niagara University in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice since 1996 and was the Chair of the Department from 2002-2012. During the 2012-2013 academic year he served as the Associate Dean for the College of Arts and Sciences. He is currently the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Niagara. In addition, he is the Principal Investigator on the First Responder Disability Awareness Training project. Some of Tim's recent research has been published in Critical Issues in Justice and Politics, Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs, Journal of Adolescent Health, American Journal of Orthopsychiatry, Journal of Youth and Adolescence, Child Abuse and Neglect, Journal of Quantitative Criminology, and Criminology. These publications are co-authored with colleagues from University at Albany, University of Maryland, and Brigham Young University, as well as with Niagara University colleagues.
